Kiwa Digital Limited (‘KIWA’) values the protection of your personal information. KIWA’s mobile apps, digital books, website and other platforms are collectively referred to as ‘our content’. This privacy policy applies to all of our content and has been created to inform you about how we collect, use, and protect your data.
KIWA only collects personal information such as your name, email address, phone number or geographic location if you voluntarily submit this information to us. You may do this by requesting products or services, asking for technical support, accessing our content through social networking sites, or through other means.
We use this personal information for the purposes for which it was supplied. For example, if you contact us via email, we will only use the information to respond to your request or query. We retain this information only as necessary to answer that query and you can revoke consent and/or request deletion of your data at any time.
No access to other personal information
KIWA does not have access to any personal information you choose to enter directly into our applications. Specifically, when using our Cultural Intelligence Apps, which allow you to develop your understanding of Māori customs and concepts, you may find it useful to fill out the ‘pepeha’ which is a personalized introduction/greeting, or the Cultural Competence Self- Development Plan. Any personal information entered into the application will be stored locally and securely in the application; and it will be deleted when you delete the application.
KIWA does not have access to any further personal usage information. Google, Apple, and Microsoft will receive the general usage information from the use of the application however this will be at an aggregate level and no personal information about a particular individual will be shared.
External links
Our apps may contain links that allow customers to access social networking sites, our website, and external stores. These links are located within gated areas (i.e. they are accessible to adults correctly answering a question, supplying a password such as an Apple ID, or through other controls) to limit the circumstances in which personal information may be volunteered.
Sharing Your Information
KIWA does not sell, distribute, rent, licence, disclose or reveal, share or pass on your personal information to third parties. Any data you voluntarily supply to us is not shared with other organisations without your permission. When such information is shared we ensure the third party will provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this Privacy Policy. We take all reasonable precautions to protect information from loss or misuse. Please keep in mind that no information transmitted over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

By using our content you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in this policy. If we make changes to our privacy policy, we will revise the date at the bottom of this page. Your continued use of our products, services and website following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
